Warning Signs

Is Your Panel Telling You Something?

Six signs we see every week in southern New Hampshire homes — any one of them is worth a phone call.

Worth a look

Lights Flicker or Dim

Especially when the dryer or space heater kicks on — a classic overloaded-panel symptom.

Call today

Breakers Trip Constantly

Resetting the same breaker every week is your panel waving a flag.

Call now

Warm Panel or Burning Smell

Heat or odor at the panel means call now — this is how electrical fires start.

Worth a look

Still on 60 or 100 Amps

Common in homes built before 1970 — and undersized for how we live now.

Call today

Fuse Box or Recalled Panel

Fuses, Federal Pacific, and Zinsco panels can raise premiums or void coverage.

Worth a look

Planning an EV or Heat Pump

Big new loads need headroom — upgrade the panel first and everything else gets simple.

Why Upgrade

Power for Today. Headroom for Tomorrow.

Most Manchester homes still run on panels sized for 1970s appliances. A modern 200-amp panel ends the nuisance trips today — and leaves room for whatever you plug in next.

Ends the flickering lights and nuisance trips
Retires fuse boxes and recalled Federal Pacific panels
Sized by a real load calculation — not a guess

We will absolutely be calling Aubrey and Speedy Sparky for any and all electrical work. Aubrey was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain every option, and made sure we understood what was being done. We had a new electrical panel installed, including a new meter outside. The work was completed quickly, cleanly, and exactly as promised. Highly recommend!

We had an emergency situation at our house where our electric box caught on fire due to old age. Aubrey immediately came out to fix the issue. He was there roughly 7 hours and did an amazing job! He made sure our electricity was back on and didn't leave until everything was completed & safe. Would absolutely recommend!!

Aubrey has been to my condo 4 times. The first time was to give a quote. Spent an hour of his own time figuring out wiring. He's been back three times. His workmanship is great. Highly recommend him.
Panel Questions

Asked Before Every Upgrade

It depends on your existing service, meter location, and whether the entrance cable needs replacing. After a quick free assessment you get one firm written number — not an estimate that grows.

Plan on most of one workday. We schedule the disconnect and reconnect with Eversource in advance, and we don't leave until everything is back on and tested.

A healthy 100-amp service is fine for many smaller homes. If an EV charger, heat pump, or addition is anywhere in your future, 200 amps is the standard — the load calculation tells us for sure.

Always — service changes require a permit and inspection in every town we serve, and we handle both. Your paperwork is delivered when we're done.
